Transfer of Ownership — Track the Process

Transfer of ownership requires:

1. Notarized Deed of Sale
2. Original CR and OR
3. Valid ID of buyer and seller
4. Tax clearance from buyer's region

Process at any LTO district office. Tracking:

• Your existing plate number remains the same
• New CR will be issued in buyer's name
• Track the new CR via LTO Tracker (Registration tab)
• Typical processing: 5-10 business days
