Wondering what your LTO Tracker status really means? Each of the 10 possible statuses signals a specific stage in plate or license production. This page decodes all of them in plain English with what to do next.

In Process

What it means: Your application is being processed by the LTO. The plate or license card hasn't been printed yet.

What to do: Wait. This stage usually takes 2-8 weeks for plates, 5-15 days for licenses. Check again next week.

Typical wait time at this stage: 2-12 weeks (varies by vehicle type)

Printed / Produced

What it means: Your plate or license has been physically produced and is ready for the next step (dispatch or release).

What to do: Wait for the next status update. The item will be moved to your selected pickup branch or to the courier.

Typical wait time at this stage: 3-7 days before next status

Dispatched

What it means: Your plate or license has been sent to your selected LTO branch for pickup, OR to the courier service for home delivery.

What to do: If you chose pickup: wait for 'Available for Pickup' status. If you chose delivery: wait for SMS with courier tracking number.

Typical wait time at this stage: 5-15 days to reach pickup branch or courier

Available for Pickup

What it means: Your plate or license is at your selected LTO branch and ready to be claimed.

What to do: Visit the branch with: (1) Original government ID, (2) Certificate of Registration (for plates), (3) Acknowledgment receipt or transaction reference.

Typical wait time at this stage: 30 days to claim before re-routing

Ready for Delivery

What it means: Your item is ready to be shipped via courier (GoGo Xpress, LBC, etc.) — you'll be asked to pay the delivery fee.

What to do: Upload clear photos of your ID and OR/CR, enter your address, pay delivery fee (₱150-₱600 via GCash or QRPh).

Typical wait time at this stage: Action required immediately — pay and submit docs

Out for Delivery

What it means: The courier has your plate or license and is delivering it to your address today or tomorrow.

What to do: Make sure someone is at the address to receive it. Have your ID ready to sign.

Typical wait time at this stage: Same day or next business day

Delivered

What it means: The plate or license has been delivered and signed for. Process complete.

What to do: Verify the plate/license matches your records. Attach plates immediately (No Plate, No Travel policy).

Typical wait time at this stage: Process complete

Released to Dealer

What it means: For brand-new vehicles: your plate has been released to the dealership where you bought your vehicle.

What to do: Contact your dealer to schedule pickup or delivery from them.

Typical wait time at this stage: Coordinate with dealer for pickup

Not Found

What it means: The system can't find your plate/license number. Either it hasn't been entered into the system yet, OR there's a typo in what you searched.

What to do: Double-check spelling and spaces. Try the MV File Number instead. If still not found, contact the LTO branch listed on your CR.

Typical wait time at this stage: Indefinite — requires troubleshooting

Returned to Sender

What it means: Delivery attempt failed (incorrect address, no recipient, etc.) and the courier returned the item to LTO.

What to do: Contact the LTO branch immediately to schedule a re-delivery or pickup.

What does 'In Process' mean on the LTO Tracker?

Your application is being processed by the LTO. The plate or license card hasn't been printed yet. This stage typically takes 2-8 weeks for plates and 5-15 days for driver's licenses.

What does 'Dispatched' mean?

Your plate or license has been physically sent — either to the LTO branch you selected for pickup, or to the courier service for home delivery. Wait for next status update (Available for Pickup or Out for Delivery).

What does 'Available for Pickup' mean?

What does 'Released to Dealer' mean?

For brand-new vehicles purchased from dealers, your plate has been delivered to the dealership where you bought your vehicle. Contact your dealer to coordinate pickup.

What does 'Not Found' mean?

The system can't find your record. Either there's a typo in your plate/MV File Number, or the data hasn't been entered yet (common for recent registrations). Wait 2 weeks and re-check, or use SMS 2600.
