How to Track Motorcycle Backlog Plate (Pre-2024)

Motorcycle plates from before 2024 use a different tracker than current plates:

1. Visit the LTO main site at lto.gov.ph
2. Look for the "Motorcycle Backlog" or "Motorcycle Plate Released to Dealers" link
3. Enter your MV File Number (start with 1301, 1303, 1801, 1336, 1366, or 1380 for NCR)
4. Remove leading zeros after the dash
5. Click search — results show MV File, MV Class, LTO NRU Office, Released To, and Date Released

If status shows "Released to Dealer," contact your dealership. The DOTr is clearing the entire backlog by end of 2026.
